It has been a busy time around our house over this past week. With the death of my Grandmother came a flurry of activity including house guests coming to stay on very short notice. Now one thing my Grandma taught me was how to be a hostess - she hosted the most wonderful family gatherings and there was always enough food to go around.
Now I am not quiet the hostess my Grandma was, but I want to make sure that my guests have lots of food. Thankfully Parmalat Canada sent me a gift basket of their new La Creme Cow products that arrived just a couple of hours before our out of town visitors! The La Creme Cow products are a line of spreadable cheese that are perfect for snacking and to use as appetizers.

We were able to try all 3 flavours, and I have to say that I LOVED the parmesan & peppercorn - creamy with a little bit of kick. We had finished 2 packs of La Creme Cow before I knew it, and were opening up a third! One of the best things about La Creme Cow is that it is easy to spread right out of the fridge, no waiting for it to warm up a little before you are able to dig in, and no broken crackers! This was great as a hostess, as it meant that I didn't have to worry about taking it out in advance, and there was less mess.

My kids LOVE cheese so I would most definitely pack it in their lunches (especially love how they're individually wrapped) and I would most likely snack on some with a few crackers and some grapes.
